The Irish band formed in Dublin and has released fifteen studio albums to date. The first was “Boy” in ’80 and the most recent was “Songs Of Surrender in ’23.
According to Pollstar, U2 were the second highest grossing musical act (behind the Rolling Stones) from ’80 to ’22, earning $2.127 billion in revenue from 26.178 million tickets sold. They have received 46 Grammy nominations and have collected 22 Grammy Awards.

From their 1988 album, “Rattle And Hum,” the song was the band’s first #1 single in the United Kingdom – #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S.

Off their fifth studio album, “The Joshua Tree” (1987), “With Or Without You” has lyrics inspired by Bono’s conflicting feelings about being both a musician and domestic man. The track topped the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks.
