Shinedown Tie Foo Fighters
Shinedown’s “Safe And Sound” sits at #9 on the current Billboard’ Mainstream Rock Airplay chart making it the band’s thirty-fifth Top 10 song on the survey, tying them with the Foo Fighters. for most Top 10 songs.
The track is off the band’s upcoming set “”Ei8ht,” which is slated to drop May 29th.

“Your Favorite Toy,” the title track and one of the singles from the upcoming Foo Fighters album (due 4/24), has landed at #3 on the rundown.
“(The song) was the fuse to the powder keg of songs we wound up recording for this record,” noted Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl.
The majority of Shinedown’s Top 10 hits on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart have risen to #1. The band claims 22 leaders, two more than second place finisher Three Days Grace.
