Marilyn Manson Releases “Front Toward Enemy”
“Front Toward Enemy,” the second single from Marilyn Manson’s upcoming album “One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2,” has arrived.
“I am proud to give you the second chapter of ‘One Assassination Under God‘, says Manson in a statement. “This completes my story. I used each stone that was thrown at me to sharpen my edges. I outgrew purgatory and carved these songs into the skin of the world. I hope it forms a scar that you cannot forget.”
Front Toward Enemy
“One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2” will drop August 14th, just days before the start of Manson’s late summer co-headline “Freaks On Parade” tour with Rob Zombie.
Manson’s current touring band includes guitarists Nick Annis and Piggy D (switching from bass), bassist Tim Skold (who played with Manson between ’02 and ’08) and drummer Gil Sharone.
The lead single from Manson’s thirteenth studio album was “Exit Wound.”
All of the album’s songs were written and co-produced by Marilyn Manson and Tyler Bates. It is Manson’s fourth album produced or co-produced by Bates. They were: “The Pale Emperor,” “Heaven Upside Down” and “One Assassination Under God – Chapters 1 & 2.”
