Lamb Of God‘s “Evidence” has dropped.

The single arrives in conjunction with the first anniversary of the band’s Omens album. It was recorded during the sessions for L.O.G.’s ninth album but left off. However, the song was included as a bonus track on the album’s Japanese edition.

The song’s lyrics address people’s tendency to believe what they want to believe.

“One of the more baffling aspects of modern-day life is the conscious rejection of empirical facts in favor of Internet echo chamber emotional security blankets,” explained Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe. “Truth is not subjective, no matter how uncomfortable that makes some people.”
