Halloween is not even here yet but Theory Of A Deadman has kicked off the holiday season with an original song, “Missing You This Christmas.”
“We’ve never done an original holiday track,” offered frontman Tyler Connolly. “Maybe it was all the years of hearing Mariah Carey in Target that sparked the idea.”
As the title implies the uptempo, guitar driven song with holiday bells, is about missing a loved one (“The one you want to be with isn’t here”) during the season.
Theory Of A Deadman formed in ’99 and has released eight albums to date. The most recent, “Dinosaur,” featuring the title track, dropped earlier this year.
