The Smashing Pumpkins have officially named Kiki Wong as their touring guitarist following last October’s departure of longtime guitarist Jeff Schroeder.
Earlier this year, the Pumpkins launched an open audition looking for a touring guitarist. Over 10,000 applications were submitted.
“Kiki joins the band’s touring lineup of Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin, and James Iha, along with mainstays Jack Bates and Katie Cole,” reads a band post.
Wong, a member of Vigil Of War, has also performed with Usher and Bret Michaels, as well as the bands Nylon Pink and Hellfire Heart.
