Metallica: No Repeat Makes Good

Having beaten COVID-19, which forced an abbreviated “No Repeat Weekend” set on 9/1 and a postponement of 9/3 concert, guitarist/vocalist James Hetfield returned as Metallica made good with a rescheduled performance in Glendale. AZ on 9/9.  

Hetfield thanked the fans for coming back when Metallica could “fire on all cylinders,” assuring them that “we hate putting on a show that ain’t 110%.”

Metallica opened with “Whiplash,” from their from their debut, “Kill ‘Em All” and closed with “Enter Sandman.” 

Five Finger Death Punch were one of the supporting acts.
