Evanescence was founded in 1994 by singer and keyboardist Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody. The band released their debut album “The Fallen” in ’03 with the singles “Bring Me To Life” and “My Immortal.”

“Lyrically, ‘The Nameless’ is a song about not wasting your life away for the sake of acceptance and comfortability,” notes August Burns Red vocalist Jake Luhrs. “Sometimes it takes detaching from what you’ve been told, or from the beliefs you are no longer aligned with, in order to face your own weaknesses. In doing so you can break free to live a life you are proud of.”

The EP has the title track featuring guirist Steve Stevens and a cover of the Thin Lizzy classic “Cold Sweat.”

“Every respectable Rock band also covers Thin Lizzy at some point, so now that is done as well,” enthuses frontman Jyrki 69.

The song’s video was filmed in January during the band’s recent European tour. and features a cameo by Moonspell’s Fernando Ribeiro.
