Metallica Keeps On Giving To Disaster Relief

‘Metallica’s All Within My Hands (AWMH) foundation has donated $100,000 for disaster relief in Florida and southeast communities affected by Hurricane Milton.

AWMH is donating $50,000 each to Feeding America and the Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC).

Feeding America stages emergency food, water, and supplies at food banks throughout Florida.

Information Technology Disaster Resource Center is a volunteer-driven nonprofit that provides technology continuity, connectivity, and recovery after catastrophic events for communities impacted by disasters.

Earlier this month, Metallica’s All Within My Hands foundation donated $100,000 for immediate Hurricane Helene disaster relief to World Central Kitchen and Team Rubicon.

Hurricane Milton made landfall on October 9th, as a Category 3 storm in Florida. Winds, tornadoes, and flooding engulfed an already ravaged state just days after Hurricane Helene hit. The storm strained food bank operations and exacerbated the need for the restoration of essential technology and communications infrastructure.
