The Eight 2024 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees Are:

Peter Frampton

“Frampton Comes Alive!,” a live double set, ruled the mid-70s.

Also, MC5 will be presented with the Musical Excellence Award while John Mayall, and Big Mama Thornton will receive the Musical Influence Award.

The induction ceremony is slated for October 19th in Cleveland.

Rock nominees NOT inducted were Jane’s Addiction (L.A. Psych-Alt), Oasis (Battling brothers, Noel and Liam Gallagher, made great ’90s Rock) and Lenny Kravitz (Rock, Soul, Funk).

The remaining nominees were Eric B. & Rakim (Hip-Hop), Sade (Soul vocalist extraordinaire), Mariah Carey (Pop diva) and Sinéad O’Connor (compelling singer who covered Prince’s “Nothing Compares 2 U”).
