Sister Sin Release “Drive”

Sister Sin has released “Drive,” the follow-up to “Suicide Hill.”

Drive

Sister Sin disbanded in 2015. “To be honest, it was due to too much touring,” explained Liv Jagrell (pictured). “I really felt that we quit when we were in our prime.”

Jagrell continued stating, “I’m not very much a Rock and Roll girl. I’m more much a Metal girl, so I started with Liv Sin and finally I felt that I also could make music that suited my voice and I could experiment with my voice, which I really love to do.”

Even though Sister Sin reformed in 2019 last month’s “Suicide Hill” marked the band’s first new music in 12 years.

The song was inspired by the 1988 film “Maniac Cop” as well as the novel “Suicide Hill” by James Ellroy.

Sister Sin’s current lineup consists of Jagrell, Jimmy Hiltula (guitar), Andreas Strandh (bass), Sebastian Svedlund (rhythm guitar) and Dave Sundberg (drums).

Their fifth and most recent studio album, “Black Lotus,” was released in 2014.
