“Spinal Tap II: The End Continues” In September
Spinal Tap II: The End Continues,” the sequel to the classic mockumentary “This Is Spinal Tap,” will be in theaters on September 12th.

Directed by Rob Reiner the film has Christopher Guest, Michael McKean and Harry Shearer reprising their roles as Spinal Tap.
The original 1984 film, “This Is Spinal Tap” was Rob Reiner’s feature directorial debut. He played Martin “Marty” Di Bergi, a documentary filmmaker who followed Spinal Tap on their American tour.
The film’s starring trio, who also co-wrote the film, Guest, McKean and Shearer played members of “one of England’s loudest bands.” Most of its dialogue was improvised and dozens of hours were filmed.
The film satirized the behavior and stoned out musical pretensions of a number of Rock bands.
