“The Stones & Brian Jones” is in theaters.
Nick Broomfield’s documentary looks at the highs and tragic lows of the Rolling Stones founder’s short life. Jones (front and center above) died in 1969 at the age of 27.
Decades later, bassist Bill Wyman reflected that, “while the Rolling Stones damaged all of us in some way, Brian was the only one that died.”
There are interviews with all the main players along with previously unseen archive footage.
