Randy Meisner Passes
The Eagles founding member, bassist, and vocalist, Randy Meisner, passed away July 26th in L.A. at age 77, due to complications from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary disease (COPD).
Meisner was the original bassist for Poco, before joining Glenn Frey, Don Henley, and Bernie Leadon, to form The Eagles.
He was in the band through the “Hotel California” album and was inducted with The Eagles into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
