RATM’s “Killing In The Name” Surpasses One-Billion Streams
Rage Against The Machine’s “Killing In The Name” has surpassed one-billion streams on Spotify.
The song, with lyrics that protest police brutality-inspired by the Rodney King beating and the L.A. riots- appeared on RATM’s ’92 self-titled album.
“Thanks to all those who listened to it: those who love it, those who hate it, and those that have enjoyed it without understanding it,” wrote RATM guitarist Tom Morello on X. “Righteous proof that rebel music and irony are alive and well.”
