New Music: Atreyu, Bad Omens & Tyketto

Dead

Atreyu

Atreyu: Dead

“We have tried to, especially on ‘Dead,’ (was to) write a song that takes you on a journey,” stated bassist Marc ‘Porter’ McKnight. “And, obviously, the chorus repeats three times, and there’s a verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus, outro… But we tried to do it in a way that was a little more exciting than normal. And I think we achieved that.”

“We wanna write songs that we love and we don’t want to go with the same tricks that… If you listen to a lot of heavy music right now — all due respect, ’cause a lot of them are my friends — a lot of it sounds the fucking same,” McKnight. continued. “And we are actively trying to not do that.”

Atreyu has earned multiple RIAA gold records, Top 20 Billboard 200 debuts, and has landed on video-game soundtracks.

Higher Than High

Tyketto

Tyketto: Higher Than High

Tyketto will release its sixth studio album, Closer To The Sun,” on March 20th.

The first video and single taken from the album is “Higher Than High.”

“(The song) is, in my estimation, classic Tyketto, where difficulties in life are seen and named but hope and, more importantly, music, is the thing that gets us through,” commented vocalist/founding member Danny Vaughn. “We think is going to be a real favorite with the fans. The song and the album say ‘play me loudly and take me for a drive.”

“Closer To The Sun” will be Tyketto’s first album since “Reach” in 2016.
