Nevermore Launches New Chapter
Seattle’s Nevermore has introduced a trio of new members. They are vocalist Berzan Önen, guitarist Jack Cattoi and bassist Semir Özerkan. They join guitarist Jeff Loomis and drummer Van Williams -both long-time Nevermore vets.
In addition, the band announced they have officially signed with Reigning Phoenix Music. “It was obvious from the start that they (Reigning Phoenix) were the perfect partner for the new era of Nevermore,” stated Loomis and Williams. “Their passion for Metal music combined with the extensive industry pedigree of their team made the choice easy.” Nevermore has also revealed plans to record an album
Nevermore’s seventh and most recent full-length effort was “The Obsidian Conspiracy,“ which dropped in ’10.
“The Obsidian Conspiracy” was the band’s first album to chart in Austria, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and the United States Billboard 200.
Nevermore then went on a thirteen-year hiatus between mid-2011 and late 2024, following the departures of Loomis and Williams.
The new lineup’s first live appearance will take place on April 1st in Istanbul, Turkey.
