Metallica frontman James Hetfield has tested positive for COVID-19. That forced the postponement of Sunday’s (9/3) ‘M72 No Repeat Weekend’ concert in Glendale, AZ.
The band’s Friday night (9/1) show in Glendale was cut short because Hetfield appeared to be suffering from vocal/throat issues.
“We’re extremely disappointed and regret any inconvenience this has caused you,” the band announced on social media. “We look forward to returning to complete the ‘M72 No Repeat Weekend’ in Glendale next Saturday (September 9th).”
