Formed in 1986 by Victor, Prong are known for the 90s songs “Beg To Differ,” “Prove You Wrong,” “Rude Awakening” and, of course, “Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck.”

“Celebrate” is the title track and second single from Black Stone Cherry’s EP. “Neon Eyes” was the lead track.

Black Stone Cherry has released eight albums with “Celebrate” being their third EP.

The band consists of Chris Robertson (vocals/ guitar), Ben Wells (guitar), Steve Jewell (bass) and John Fred Young (drums).

“We made this record in eight to ten days,” says The Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson. “Bringing the high and inspiration from ‘Happiness Bastards’ into this album, it was a natural progression. We experimented more, we wrote on instinct and how we were feeling in the moment.”

Guitarist Rich Robinson adds: “This album feels transformative to us. Going back to our roots, we felt that spark in the studio and how we work together.”

3/13 Dream Theater: Live In Tokyo, 2010

The album documents Dream Theater’s performance from Summer Sonic festival in Tokyo. That performance was founding drummer Portnoy’s last performance with the band until he returned in 2023. The six-track set captures some of the band’s most-notable classics in one live performance.

Mike Portnoy, guitarist John Petrucci and bassist John Myung started Dream Theater as Majesty in 1985, after meeting at the Berklee College Of Music in Boston.

“I started going back and listening to The Haunted and to At The Gates and to early Meshuggah and all that kind of Swedish stuff that I was so excited about at that point in time,” recalled Lamb Of God guitarist Mark Morton. “So (I was) just kind of going back there and re-tapping back into my excitement around those bodies of work and then allowing that to inspire what I was doing when I was picking up the guitar again.”

“Into Oblivion” is Lamb Of God’s tenth studio album.

The all-female European Pop-Metal band’s second album features the lead single “Like A Witch,” which band member Jelena Milovanovic says is “girl power at its best”, while fellow bandmate Erina Seitllar adds, “there’s a hypnotic pull in Like A Witch’, a blend of mystery, rhythm, and feminine fire that you feel instantly.” The second single from the band’s sophomore set was the title track.

In addition to Milovanovic and Seitllar, Venus 5 includes vocalists Karmen Klinc, Tezzi Persson and Greta Di Iacovo (a.k.a. Herma).

 Tyketto set out of create arena Rock anthems.

“We Rise’ is definitely one of those,” noted vocalist Danny Vaughn.

The band was formed in 1987 by Vaughn.

The album marks the return of vocalist Rob Dukes who was in Exodus from ’05–’14.

Guitarist Gary Holt is the only band member heard on all twelve Exodus albums.

3/27 Black Label Society: Engines Of Demolition

BLS’s 12th album, contains “The Gallows” and an Ozzy Osbourne tribute.

Founder/band leader Zakk Wylde worked with the Prince of Darkness until the end of his career performing with him during last July’s “Back To The Beginning” farewell concert.

“Engines Of Demolition” follows ’21’s “Doom Crew Inc.”

“Inferno” is Lion’s Share seventh studio album and first full-length release since Dark Hours” (2009).

The Swedish Metal band, formed in 1987 with guitarist Lars Chriss, and keyboardist Kay Backlund. Chriss is the only original member. Nils Patrik Johansson handles vocals.
