Ashley Walters, a former Marilyn Mason assistant, has won an appeal in court to proceed with her lawsuit against the performer.
In May ’21, Walters sued Manson for sex discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual assault, interference with the exercise of civil rights, sexual battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. The case was dismissed the following year because Walters reportedly attempted to circumvent the statute of limitations.
But on December 13th, a tribunal with California’s Second Appellate District approved her appeal sending the case back to the lower court judge for trial.
