Linkin Park Kicks-Off Comeback Mini-Tour

Linkin Park officially kicked off its comeback mini-tour (on 9/11) at Kia Forum in Inglewood, CA. The two-hour set showcased new singer Emily Armstrong (pictured above) and drummer Colin Brittain, along with Mike Shinoda, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, Joe Hahn and touring guitarist Alex Feder (stepping in for Brad Delson).

“It is not about erasing the past,” Shinoda told the audience. “It is about starting this new chapter into the future and coming out here for each and every one of you.”

The 27-song set touched various points in Linkin Park’s lengthy career, including rarities, and their new single “The Emptiness Machine.” They opened, for the first time, with “Somewhere I Belong.”

The mini-tour will have stops in New York (9/16 – sold out), Hamburg, Germany (9/22), London (9/24), Seoul, South Korea (9/28) and Bogota, Columbia (11/11).

Comeback album, “From Zero,” is slated to drop November 15th and will mark the band’s first full-length effort since ’17’s “One More Light,” which was the last Linkin Park album prior to the death of lead vocalist Chester Bennington.
