Lemmy Kilmister’s ashes will be enshrined at West Hollywood’s famous Rainbow Bar & Grill on April 19th.

Fans are invited “to raise a very unique toast to Lemmy and Motörhead with the unveiling of brand new Motörhead Whiskey,” read a Rainbow social media post.

When he wasn’t touring or recording the Motörhead bassist/frontman spent most of his free time at the Rainbow. That led the bar and grill to rename its patio “Lemmy’s Lounge” in ’16. There is also a bronze statue of Lemmy at the Rainbow.

Between ’77 – ’15, Lemmy and Motörhead released twenty-three albums and were known for the songs “Bomber,” “Overkill” and “Ace Of Spades.”

Lemmy died on December 28th, ’15 shortly after learning he had been diagnosed with cancer. His body was cremated following a funeral in the Hollywood Hills.
