Ice Nine Kills Pay Tribute To Jack Nicholson’s Joker
“Laugh Track” is the title of the new Ice Nine Kills song and cinematic music video that leans into Jack Nicholson’s portrayal of The Joker in “Batman.”
‘The Laugh Track’ is our homage to Tim Burton’s dark and gorgeous gothic Gotham,” comments Ice Nine Kills frontman Spencer Charnas. “‘Batman’ ’89 took its comic book material seriously, but it was far from grounded and never forgot to have fun.”
Last year, Charnas was featured on The Funeral Portrait’s “Suffocate City,” which went to #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.

Ice Nine Kills will headline the When We Were Young festival sideshow in Las Vegas on October 17th. They will then play the festival on the 18th and 19th.
