Lamb Of God Release A New Track From “Into Oblivion”
Lamb Of God’s forthcoming album, “Into Oblivion,” arrives on March 13th. The latest track from the album is “Blunt Force Blues,” a nod to the band’s Richmond, VA roots and the local community scene.
“We learned how to play by watching and hanging out with other local dudes,” comments Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe. “That’s what we aspired to do — keep up with good local bands. They were just as much of an influence on us as any of the bigger bands from different cities.”

“For me, the album is about having the space to breathe creatively and not feeling like we have to keep up with any trend or expectation,” adds guitarist Mark Morton. “It feels nice to be untethered from any agenda beyond rallying around the notion of, ‘Let’s just make music that we think is cool,’ which is really where it all started.”
“Into Oblivion” was produced by Josh Wilbur, and recorded in multiple locations, including Richmond, Morton’s home studio and Total Access studio – the latter two are in Redondo Beach, CA.
It will be Lamb Of God’s tenth album (not counting the two albums the band recorded as Burn The Priest).
