KISS Members To Be Inducted Into The Songwriters Hall of Fame

Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley (pictured above) of KISS will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame this June.

KISS became one of America’s most successful Rock bands and a pop culture phenomenon. They were known for an extensive career highlighted by the songs “Shout It Out Loud,” “Rock And Roll All Nite” and “Detroit Rock City.”

Later, there was an overdue induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and 2025 recipients of the Kennedy Center Honors.

The band went through several lineup changes, with Stanley and Simmons remaining the only consistent members. They came together in 1973 producing an unlikely creative partnership and had a shared work ethic, With Stanley, Simmons said, “One and one is three.”

The Hall’s inductee list also includes Taylor Swift (at 36, she will be the youngest inductee ever), Alanis Morissette, Kenny Loggins and R&B songwriter, producer and Rapper Christopher “Tricky” Stewart.

The induction ceremony will be held June 11th in New York City.
