John Corabi Has “That Memory”
Former Mötley Crüe and current The Dead Daisies frontman John Corabi will release his debut full-length solo album, “New Day,” on April 24th.
The third single from the album is “That Memory. “It’s my wife’s favorite from the record,” claims Corabi.
“‘That Memory’ is a great tune that my good pal Charlie Starr (Blackberry Smoke vocalist/lead guitarist) sent me a rough idea on. I played it for Marti Frederiksen (my producer) and he loved it. We changed the key to fit my voice and recorded it,” adds the singer.

Two previous released singles are the title track and “When I Was Young.”

When I Was Young
Corabi joined Mötley Crüe following the ’92 departure of Vince Neil and contributed to the band’s 1994 self-titled record. But during the recording of the follow-up album “Generation Swine” in late ’96, Neil returned to the band which sent Corabi packing.
