Jay Weinberg Debuts As Suicidal Tendencies Drummer

Former Slipknot drummer Jay Weinberg played his first show with Suicidal Tendencies on March 14th at Yogibo Meta Valley in Osaka, Japan.

Last November, Slipknot parted ways with Weinberg, who was in the band for a decade, including three albums starting with ’14’s “.5: The Gray Chapter.” At the time Weinberg posted he was “heartbroken and blindsided” by the decision.

Months later, he officially joined Suicidal Tendencies.

The L.A. Thrash Metal band, formed in ’80 by vocalist Mike Muir, has released fourteen studio albums but has undergone various lineup changes, with Muir as the only remaining original member.
