Hinder’s Seventh Album Is Out

Hinder’s “Back To Life,” the band’s first album in eight years holds the single “Bring Me Back To Life,” which has a special meaning.

“After writing an entire album and then throwing it away in 2020, we had become discouraged and decided that we weren’t going to release any new music, much less an entire album,” explained drummer and founding member Cody Hanson. “However, as soon as we wrote ‘Bring Me Back To Life’, everything changed. Sometimes, it just takes one special song to breathe life back into a band, and this song became the catalyst for the entire album.”

The set also includes “Everything Is A Cult.”

“While most people in America have much more in common than they might want to admit, we all have the tendency to fall into the willingness of being spoon-fed propaganda as long as it conveniently coincides with our own beliefs,” noted Hanson. “No matter what side you’re on, everything is a cult now.”

The album’s lead single was the power ballad “Live Without It.” The song peaked at #20 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.

Everything Is A Cult

“Back To Life” is the band’s first album without longtime rhythm guitarist Mark King. He left in ’21. It’s also their first album since signing with Evil Teen Records in ’24
