“The American Dream Is Killing Me,” Green Day’s first official single from their forthcoming studio album “Saviors,” has dropped. The album is due January 19th.
Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong said he knew “The American Dream Is Killing Me” would be the album’s lead single as soon as the band finished cutting it, despite being one of the last tracks they created for their fourteenth album.
Green Day first performed the single and “Look Ma, No Brains!” live at last week’s “When We Were Young” festival in Las Vegas.
