Dogstar Shares The “Joy”
Keanu Reeves’s reactivated Grunge band Dogstar will release its fourth studio album, “All In Now,” on May 29th. It’s the follow-up to ’23’s “Somewhere Between The Power Lines And Palm Trees.”
The official music video for the set’s latest single, “Joy” has arrived.
“Where does ‘Joy’ begin? It begins with ethereal, dreamy reverb guitar that sets a tone. I bought a new guitar — a vintage Gibson ES335 Hollow Body that I brought in, “comments guitarist/vocalist Bret Domrose.” “It gave us some new tones to explore and opened a new avenue for us to explore.”

The album’s title track was the lead single. “‘All In Now’ just whacks you in the head,” shares drummer Rob Mailhouse. “It sort of summed up where and who we are as a band today. It just feels true to us.”
“This is a good song to lean into,” Reeves adds. “So, we really are all in now.”
