Dire Straits’ Mark Knopfler (pictured) will release a charity single on March 15th to raise funds for the British charity Teenage Cancer Trust.
The track is a version of Knopfler’s ’83 song “Going Home (Theme From ‘Local Hero’).”
Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, Peter Frampton, Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath), Brian May (Queen), Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine) Joan Jett and Slash (GN’R) are among the 60 musicians who participated. The song also features the legendary Jeff Beck (pictured) with his final recording before passing away in January of ’23.
