The Dave Matthews Band (Matthews pictured above) leads the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s annual Fan Vote for induction into the Hall with over 377,000 votes of more than 2.8-million cast.
Last month, Ozzy Osbourne (pictured) led the pack with over 175,000 votes followed by Foreigner, Peter Frampton and Dave Matthews Band.
Foreigner has moved into second with 336,000 ballots. Ozzy (pictured) is now third with just over 334,000 votes.
Ozzy and Frampton are first time nominees though Ozzy was inducted in ’06 as a member of Black Sabbath.
Often, but not always, the winner of the Fan Vote gets inducted.
Fans can vote for nominees daily through April 26th at Vote.rockhall.com.
To be eligible for this year’s ballot, each nominee’s first single or album had to have been released in ’99 or earlier.
