Creed attended Wednesday’s Game 3 of the American League Championship Series between the Houston Astros and the Texas Rangers in Arlington, TX. The appearance, the band’s first since reuniting, was a show of support for the team (and fans) who turned to Creed songs for inspiration.
Rangers fans started singing Creed’s “Higher” during the divisional series against the Baltimore Orioles, which the Rangers won.
During the regular season Rangers players listened to Creed songs prior to games to “loosen them up.” The band’s music was credited for helping the Rangers turn their season around.
The Astros won the Wednesday’s game 8-5 but the Rangers hold a 2-1 lead in the series.
Game 4 in the series will take place at Texas’ Globe Life Field tonight (October 19th).
