Perfect Circle’s New Song
A Perfect Circle (primarily Tool’s Maynard James Keenan and guitarist/songwriter Billy Howerdel) has returned with “Starless.” Produced by Keenan and Howerdel and recorded at Howerdel’s Lankershim Ranch Studio in Studio City, CA, the song was written earlier this year and features the renowned Josh Freese (Nine Inch Nails, Guns N’ Roses, Foo Fighters) on drums.
“Some songs get kicked around and massaged for years,” Howerdel says. “But once in a while, one takes shape quickly, as if it had been there all along.”
Starless
The band’s most recent album, their fourth, was 2018’s “Eat The Elephant. It was their first album release in fourteen years since 2004’s “Emotive.”
Next month, A Perfect Circle will launch their first U.K./ European tour in eight years.
