Slayer To Celebrate “Reign In Blood” – Add Another L.A. Show
Slayer will celebrate the 40th anniversary of their third album, “Reign In Blood,“ with three U.S. headlining shows featuring the album performed in its entirety. The locations/dates are:
September 4th – Shakopee, MN @ Mystic Lake Amphitheater
November 13th & 14th – Inglewood, CA @ Kia Forum – The 11/13 date will be the band’s first L.A. concert in seven years.
These are the only U.S. performances of the special “Reign In Blood” anniversary show. Festival appearances throughout the year will feature different sets.
“Reign In Blood” was released on October 20th, 1986.

The band’s first collaboration with record producer Rick Rubin was a breakthrough in Thrash Metal and Speed Metal. The set includes “Angel Of Death,” Piece By Piece and “Raining Blood.”

Slayer guitarist Jeff Hanneman has said that the album was his personal favorite, reasoning it was “so short and quick and to the point”
