The Ballad Of Judas Priest To Premiere Next Month
“The Ballad Of Judas Priest,” a documentary, will receive its world premiere at the 76th Berlinale – Berlin International Film Festival, set to take place February 12th-22nd.
Co-directed by Sam Dunn, known for his series of Heavy Metal documentaries, and Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello in his directorial debut, “The Ballad Of Judas Priest,” tracks the pioneers of the Heavy Metal genre.
“We have lived and breathed Metal for over five decades, and finally in this documentary we are summoning our congregation to officially witness our lives uncensored, in a never-before-seen way… the cassock comes off, revealing Priest in all its Metal glory,” states Judas Priest.
Judas Priest has sold more than 50 million records and released 19 studio albums.

The Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) is an annual event founded in 1951. It’s been held every February since 1978 and is one of Europe’s “Big Three” film festivals, alongside the Venice Film Festival and the Cannes Film Festival.
