Militia Vox is joined by Corey Glover (Living Colour), with guest appearances by guitarists Vernon Reid (Living Colour) and Nuno Bettencourt.

“It’s Only Love” was originally made famous in the ’80s by Bryan Adams and Tina Turner.

Militia Vox is an Alt-Rock/Metal singer, songwriter and composer whose music is a rebellious blend of Metal, Rock, Goth/Industrial and cinematic soundscapes. She is known for her 4-octave range, raw presence and vocal power.

Militia Vox has won 3 Global Music Awards for Best Female Vocalist, Best Lyrics/Songwriting and Best in Genre: Alternative Metal.

The End

Mammoth: Same Old Song 

The band formerly known as Mammoth WVH led by songwriter, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and producer Wolfgang Van Halen has released the fourth single from the act’s third album, “The End.”

The 10-track effort was recorded at the legendary 5150 studio and produced by longtime collaborator Michael “Elvis” Baskette.

The album’s previous singles were “I Really Wanna,” “The Spell” and “The End.”

Mammoth will launch The End” tour beginning October 31st and will run for five weeks before it wraps up on December 7th. The touring band consists of Van Halen (guitar/lead vocals), Jon Jourdan (guitar/vocals), Frank Sidoris (guitar), Ronnie Ficarro (bass) and Garrett Whitlock (drums).

Myles Kennedy (Alter Bridge) will be the special guest on the trek.

Avenged Sevenfold: Some Kind Of Hate

Just in time for Halloween, Avenged Sevenfold has dropped a cover of the Misfits classic.

The original version appeared on Misfits’ 1985 compilation album “Legacy Of Brutality.”

A7X have spent the last several Halloween seasons dropping Misfits covers, including “Halloween,” “Skulls,” and “Astro Zombies.”

No surprise, The Misfits are often recognized as the pioneers of the Horror Rock subgenre, blending Punk and other musical influences with horror themes.

The song was produced by Jordan Fish (Bring Me The Horizon) and co-written by Poppy and Fish.

The video was directed by Sam Cannon, a longstanding collaborator who also directed the visualizers for her 2024 album “Negative Spaces.”

Poppy co-wrote all the songs on “Negative Spaces,” her fifth and most recent album, while the production was handled by Fish.

The album was primarily a Metalcore, Alternative Rock, Arena Rock oriented effort.

Following the album Poppy embarked on “They’re All Around Us” tour.

“I’ve been ready for this my whole life, explained Yungblud. “As soon as we entered the studio, the chemistry exploded and the songs just poured out of us. It’s the kind of collaboration that young me wouldn’t even dream of. I’m making records with my heroes. I’m loving every second.”

Comedian Steve Martin added banjo to the track. Martin played banjo on some of his early comedy albums and, in re4cent years, he has gotten more serious about the instrument.

Tyler, a longtime admirer. reached out to of Martin. “I’m playing banjo on a Steven Tyler song!” Steve revealed on Instagram.

Soulfly: Chama

Soulfly: No Pain = No Power

The song is from the band’s recently released thirteenth album, “Chama.”

The “No Pain = No Power” video was directed by Zyon Cavalera, Soulfly drummer and son of Soulfly leader Max Cavalera.

“It feels like just yesterday watching UFC fights with my family talking about how cool it would be to connect with a fighter,” offered Zyon Cavalera. “Then we saw Pereira (a mixed martial artist) using ‘Itsari’ (an instrumental from Sepultura’s sixth album ‘Roots’) and were hooked. ‘No Pain = No Power’ goes to show your dreams are not so far away.”

“I feel this record (‘Chama’), in a weird, unique way, the attitude of it is very Punk in its essence,” Max Cavalera explained. “It’s a short record, shorter songs. It’s full of meaning between the tracks.
