Ivan Moody leaves Vegas, starts a business and gets a key.

3/4 “Welcome To The Circus” is #1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart.  The track is from Five Finger Death Punch’s ninth studio album “AfterLife.”

3/8 Vocalist Ivan Moody marks his fifth year of sobriety.  He nearly died due to an alcohol-related seizure and went to rehab five times before it finally stuck. 

7/15 Moody celebrates the opening of Moody’s Rock Stop, a Rock and Roll-based convenience store and fueling station for everyday “recharging” in Cheyenne, WY.  He also offers discounts to military personnel.

7/27  Cheyenne, WY mayor Patrick Collins presents Moody with the key to the city during the band’s concert at the Cheyenne Frontier Days festival.  Cheyenne has been Moody’s hometown since June (moving from Las Vegas).

8/27  When Moody comes down with a “terrible flu” and forced to miss a concert in L.A., opening for Metallica, Phil Labonte (All That Remains), Howard Jones (ex-Killswitch Engaged) and AJ Channer (Fire From The Gods) fill-in.

11/1 Five Finger Death Punch announce they will donate a portion of their upcoming tour ticket revenue to Covenant House’s programs to house, feed, educate, provide job assistance, mental health services and healthcare to homeless youth across the Americas.
