Thundermother’s New Single “Bright Eyes”
Thundermother has released, “Bright Eyes,” a track from the band’s “Dirty & Divine,” which will arrive on February 7th.
“This song has the quintessential Thundermother sound,” stated the band.
“Dirty & Divine” is frontwoman Linnea Vikström Egg and drummer Joan Massing’s first album with the band. It also marks the return of bassist Majsan Lindberg.
“We’ve been working on this a long time, maybe a year and a half,” offered founder/guitarist Filippa Nässil “As soon as Linnea came into the band, we started sending demos to each other, and we did loads of writing, which was great, because she’s a fantastic songwriter. I was sending her the music and she was sending me these amazing lyrics and melodies.”
Thundermother imploded in ’23 but Filippa vowed to keep going. She recruited new members and brought back Lindberg.
