The Pretty Reckless will be the support act on AC/DC’s upcoming “PWR Up” European stadium tour starting on May 17th in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.

The two groups are a study in contrasts.

AC/DC released their debut album, “High Voltage,” in ’75 while The Pretty Reckless presented “Light Me Up” in ’10.

AC/DC has issued seventeen albums (the first two were Australia only releases). The band’s “Power Up” (’20), their most recent effort, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart – their third album to reach the top. The first two were “For Those About To Rock We Salute You” (’81) and “Black Ice” (’08).

The Pretty Reckless have four albums to their credit with Death By Rock And Roll” dropping in ’21. Debuting at #1 on the Top Album Sales chart, it became the band’s first to rule the chart and third to land in the Top Ten, while reaching the 28th position on the Billboard 200.

During an interview Taylor Momsen, The Pretty Reckless frontwoman, stated that she grew up listening to her father’s record collection and that AC/DC were among her favorites.
