Alice Cooper Lends Name To Fossil

Serpula alicecooperi, a fossil, has been named in honor of Alice Cooper

The fossil is a kind of marine worm that is believed to be 190 million years old.

It was found by amateur geologist on the Danish Island of Bornholm and was handed over to the researchers on Geomuseum Faxe in Denmark to be studied and identified.

Cooper joins several other legendary musicians like Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath), Lemmy (Mötorhead), King Diamond and The Rolling Stones who have had fossils named after them.
