Safety Concerns End Bring Me The Horizon Concert

Bring Me The Horizon’s 11/10 concert in Jakarta, Indonesia was canceled mid-set due to safety concerns which led fans to storm the stage creating near-riotous moments with a sizable crowd gathering onstage to sing.

Following “DiE4u,” the 11th song in the band’s set, an announcement was made informing fans that the remainder of the concert had been canceled.

Frontman Oli Sykes (pictured) stated the band “had no choice” due to numerous structural issues at Ancol Beach City International Stadium that could imperil the safety of fans, the band, crew and venue staff.  Sykes noted that video monitors were “bouncing” on the stage.

As a result, the band’s performance the following night was also scrubbed, even after exploring alternative means to put on a safe show.
