Pearl Jam has released “Running,” the second single from the band’s upcoming twelfth studio album, “Dark Matter, ” which will drop April 19th.
“’Running’ was one of the last songs recorded for the album.
“It was fun to come up with one more uptempo song,” noted guitarist Stone Gossard. “I love the bridge. I don’t know what the hell those chords are (that guitarist Mike McCready played) but it sounds original.”
The album’s title track, released earlier, topped Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart.
