Papa Roach Is #1 With “Even If It Kills Me”
“Papa Roach have found their way back to the top of the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart dated March 22nd) with “Even If It Kills Me,” a track from the band’s twelfth studio effort which they hope to release before the end of the year.
“As we evolve the music and push things forward, you never know what’s gonna happen in the studio,” offered frontman Jacoby Shaddix. “And I’ve gotta tell you, what happened in the studio this time around has been just exciting.”
“Even If It Kills Me” is Papa Roach’s eleventh Mainstream Rock #1, making them the band with the tenth most #1s in the chart’s history. Shinedown leads with twenty but Papa Roach is currently only one chart-topper behind Linkin Park and Disturbed who have twelve each.
The track is the band’s fourth #1 in a row following “No Apologies” (’22), “Cut The Line” (’23) and “Leave A Light On” (’24).
