Pantera (pictured above) and Disturbed will headline the 2024 edition of Knotfest Australia. The March festival will also include Lamb Of God, Halestorm and Asking Alexandria. A complete list of acts performing is on the Knotfest website.
Knotfest will be Pantera’s first appearance in Australia since ’01.
The band has vocalist Phil Anselmo and bassist Rex Brown along with guitarist Zakk Wylde and drummer Charlie Benante who have stepped in for the deceased Abbott brothers, guitarist Dimebag Darrell and drummer Vinnie Paul.
Disturbed last toured Australia in ’16 behind their “Immortalized” album. This time around they will be supporting their eighth album, “Divisive”, which came out in November ‘22. The album landed at #5 on the ARIA (Australian Record Industry Association) chart.
Knotfest Australia begins March 21st at Melbourne’s Flemington Racecourse, then moves to Sydney’s Centennial Park on the 23rd and closes at Brisbane Showgrounds on the 24th.
Knotfest Australia 2024 “early bird” tickets will be available at 10 a.m. local time on Tuesday, November 21st. The general on-sale begins on Thursday, November 23rd via the Knotfest website.
