Oasis Launch World Reunion Tour
The long-awaited Oasis reunion, with the often-warring brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, played Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales (on 7/4) for their first show together in 16 years.
After forming in ’91 and owning the mid-to-late ’90’s the brothers, who were known for a series of both public and private disputes, got into a physical altercation in Paris (scheduled to perform at the Rock en Seine festival), that resulted in Noel from walking away from the band. However, last August the brothers announced they would be making a comeback.
Fans watched Oasis perform generational anthems (“Supersonic,” “Live Forever,” “Rock ‘n’ Roll Star”) plus the hits (“Don’t Look Back In Anger,” “Morning Glory,” “Wonderwall” and “Champagne Supernova”). Select videos are below.
Further dates around the U.K., the United States, South Korea, Japan, Australia and South America are scheduled.
