Eva Under Fire: Awakening
It’s the first new music in two years from the Detroit, MI quintet.
“‘Awakening’ is an anthem about conquering personal demons,” explained vocalist Amanda Lyberg. “The rest of the album is what it took to get there. It’s also a story packaged in the heaviest riffs we’ve ever played so I think listeners will be pleasantly surprised.”
For “Awakening“ (and the album’s other songs) Lyberg, a former licensed therapist. worked with band members to foster an open dialogue.
“The guys and I are stoked about the upcoming album,” enthused Lyberg. “These songs are everything we wanted to write. We made sure it was the most honest version of our story.”

Amaru continued: “Having Austin on this track was a blast. I’ve always been a fan of his voice and getting him involved just made total sense. He brings so much raw energy and emotion to the song.”
Among other things, Winkler is known as Hinder’s ex-vocalist.

“The song dives into mental health, identity, and the feeling of living on the edge of control,” stated Saliva vocalist Bobby Amaru. “It’s about masking pain, feeling lost, and trying to find meaning in the chaos.”

Nothing More: We’re In This Together
“‘We’re In This Together’ sounds like a love song colliding with a war cry,” says Nothing More vocalist Jonny Hawkins. The song originally appeared on Nine Inch Nails 1999 album “The Fragile.”
“This song is from my favorite Nine Inch Nails album and by far one of my favorite NIN songs,” explained guitarist Mark Vollelunga. “It’s such a beautiful cataclysm. Essentially, it’s a love song, but as I dove deeper, my interpretation shifted to it being about my relationship to my personal demons and mental trauma. It’s about making peace with those monsters.”
