Metallica was awarded the “Rock Tour Of The Year” honor at the Pollstar Awards in a 2/7 ceremony held at the Wiltern Theater in L.A. Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich (pictured second from the left) attended.
Metallica nailed the highest grossing concert of all time taking in $10.443 million on August 6th, ’23, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey as part of the “M72“ tour.
Billboard reported that Metallica’s ’23 tour grossed $125.8 million, with 1.2 million tickets sold over 19 shows.
