MGK’s Razor Guitar Controversy
Machine Gun Kelly and Schecter Guitars have introduced a signature “Razor Blade” model.
And people have been taking to social media to condemn the design saying it “glorifies self-harm.”
“The scene has problems with mental health and making… self-harm look ‘cool’ is actually super lame,” wrote one person.
As one would expect, MGK disagreed. “I’ll never explain my art, because true art is conversational and always up for interpretation, but I will say, most of you constantly interpret it wrong, and then blame me for your version of what you think my art is.”
The guitar sells for $1,499.00.
