Lamb Of God Return With “Sepsis”
Lamb Of God have unfurled “Sepsis,” the band’s first new original music* since ’22’s album “Omens” (which debuted at #15 on the Billboard 200).
‘Sepsis’ is a potentially life-threatening condition.
‘Sepsis’ (the song) is a celebration of the very underground local bands here in Richmond that we really admired when we were just forming (the pre-Lamb Of God) band) Burn The Priest,” Lamb Of God guitarist Mark Morton said. “(Though other local bands) never got widespread attention outside of Richmond, those were the bands we listened to all the time. That’s a direct line to where we were coming from when we were in the basement writing our earliest material together.”

“We’re gonna put out some records on the same rough schedule that we always do,” stated bassist John Campbell. “We are still alive and kicking, and there will be more records. There will definitely be a new Lamb of God record. I don’t think I’m giving away any secrets with that.”
Fan’s Notes:
@FatalThrive: “The only way I can describe this song is, they took their entire career from BTP to the latest LOG album and condensed it into one song.”
@melziporlin4559: “Love this band, great song. They incapable of making a bad song.“
@supermcmattman7549: “If this is indicative of a new direction, I’m all for it! Sounds great!“
*Just hours after Lamb Of God took the stage at the “Back To The Beginning,” the Ozzy Osbourne/Black Sabbath farewell concert earlier this year, Lamb Of God released a studio version of “Children Of The Grave,’ a track from Sabbath’s ’71 set, “Master Of Reality.”
